Die Villa Drago ist Teil des Landguts Tenuta Fonte del Sasso, das heute im Besitz eines berühmten lokalen Önologen und Winzers ist und mehrere tausend Hektar unberührter Wälder und Landschaften umfasst.
Die Villa wurde handgefertigt und liebevoll restauriert und diente einst als Familienhaus inmitten des Anwesens. Jetzt ist es mit einem privaten Pool und einem Garten mit Blick auf die makellosen Wälder ringsum ausgestattet. Die Villa verfügt über weitläufige Außenbereiche, die sich perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem langen Sightseeing-Tag eignen. Eine große Veranda/Veranda mit einem Essbereich bietet einen beeindruckenden Blick auf die Landschaft, ebenso wie der Pool. Babyausstattung wie Kinderbett und Hochstuhl heißt auch die jüngsten Besucher willkommen.
Versteckt in den sanften Hügeln außerhalb des Weilers Orentano, hat das Haus mit vier Schlafzimmern eine erstklassige Lage in der Nähe von Lucca, Pisa, San Miniato, San Gimignano, Florenz, Siena, Cinque Terre, Montecatini, Pistoia und Volterra - alle zwischen 15 und 60 Autominuten entfernt, während eine 25-minütige Fahrt Sie zum Flughafen Pisa bringt. Eine Bar, ein paar Restaurants, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und zwei Pizzerien befinden sich im Weiler Orentano, nur wenige Gehminuten von der Villa entfernt (2,5 km entfernt), während die größere Stadt Altopascio mit einer großen Anzahl von Geschäften, Restaurants, Supermärkten, Lebensmittel, Bäckereien mit dem berühmten lokalen "Altopascio-Brot", das dort seit den 1100er Jahren hergestellt wird, Bars, Pizzerien, Eisdielen usw. sind in weniger als 10 Autominuten von der Villa entfernt.

We had such an amazing time in Villa Drago. It was much better than expected. They received us with a nice bottle of red wine from their own vineyard.

Filippo the host was very helpful and showed us the house. He also provided a very nice guide of restaurantsand places to visit around. It is very near Lucca, Pisa, Florencia, St Gimignano, Siena, Bologna, max 1hr30 away. We had cooking lessons with Stefania and my kids. She prepared a very tasty aperitif before starting the lesson and brought a lot of ingredients from local places. We learned how to cook 3 different pastas with different methods as the “nonnas” did and the sauces were amazing. The house is very well equipped and is surrounded by nature. We really had a great week with my family. I recommend this house and I would love to come back.Thank you Stefania, Saverio and Drago 🫶🏼 |

We loved our 7-night stay in this stunning large country house in a woodland setting. The house is beautifully furnished with antique furniture, artwork and plants in a way that celebrates the charm of the home. The large kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed bringing Tuscan delights back to the house to make meals together. The grounds are lovely and the bravest amongst us enjoyed a dip in the pool in April!
All the bedrooms were comfortable and we all slept very peacefully in this quiet, rural setting. The location is great. There are walks through the woodlands directly from the property. There's a small village a short drive away with cafe and restaurant and then a town about 10-15 minutes away that has everything you need. We really loved how easy it was to make day trips to Lucca, Cinque Terre and small hilltop towns. The host was very responsive and really wanted to make sure we had a good stay. Highly recommended. |

This is a really lovely and stylish house surrounded by nature, allowing the guests to really relax and rest. Lucca is about half an hour drive away. Filippo was extremely helpful and even managed to fix the wi-fi very quickly, as it was down when wemehr anzeigen

The property manager, Filipino, was very responsive and helpful. Property was large and very private. Small village of Orentano was a 10 minutes away for groceries. Florence was about 1.5 hours away. We hired a private chef for two nights (through Armehr anzeigen

We hired a private chef for two nights (through Arianna and Friends) and they were excellent. I would highly recommend them. We rented the villa with our son, daughter-in-law and their two small children. THey enjoyed the stay as well. The pool was a nice bonus.

The house is amazing and it’s extremely private. We really enjoyed ourselves for 5 days, mixing day trips to nearby towns (Lucca was great!) and beaches with days by the pool in the garden. Perfect for us - 6 adults of 70-35 years and three kids of 1mehr anzeigen

Perfect for us - 6 adults of 70-35 years and three kids of 1-5 years. The owner, Severio, turned up quite late at night and stayed at his apartment in another end of the house for one night, I assume just to check out who we were. Didn’t disturb us - he was really nice, told us about the house and it’s surroundings and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. All in all a very pleasant stay that perfectly matched our expectations, a lot thanks to the host’s thorough and correct descriptions of the house. The host’s representative, Filippo, was great.

Nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver la villa dans la nuit - le chemin est assez difficile d’accès (difficile avec une citadine, nous avions un SUV donc cela allait) Sur place, cuisine et équipement très corrects, belles prestations, jardin impeccable et piscine très sympathique ! Quelques jeux de société dans la maison seraient un vrai plus ! |
