What a wonderful stay we had at Glenda's charming Tuscan cottage! It was sparkling clean, has everything you need, and feels like a home away from home. The cottage is part of the private property of Glenda and her parents, and while we had all the privacy we needed, we also loved interacting with them. Her parents were so warm, kind and hospitable, and we cannot thank them enough for everything, including the fun conversations we had in a blend of English, Italian and hand gestures. We also really appreciated the recommendations Glenda gave us on our request. She's an amazing host with a great command of English. The location of the cottage is awesome too, with beautiful views and central to many must-see places. We loved our time here and we'll be returning for sure! Grazie mille!

The beds were so comfortable, I slept so well. We flew into Florence, rented a car and off we went. The little cottage was situated perfectly to drive to our daily sight seeings, or, we drive to a train station and catch the train to our outing. Glenda was the most perfect host! She had plenty of recommendations for us and answered all of our questions promptly. We were able to chat with her and her parents and they were all so welcoming and lovely. Would highly recommend this cottage!

Wir waren rundum mit der Unterkunft und der Betreuung durch Glenda, die Gastgeberin, zufrieden. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und bietet alles für einen Urlaub in der Toskana. Alles sauber und in Ordnung. Glenda hat uns bei Ankunft begrüßt und uns gute Tipps für Ausflügen und zum Einkaufen gegeben. Das Haus verfügt über Heizung und auch eine Klimaanlage, somit waren auch im Winter die Temperaturen angenehm. Fußläufig hat man ein paar Läden, wo man Lebensmittel einkaufen kann und auch einen Bäcker. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt.

We had a great stay at Rosyabate cottage. It’s an authentic Italian cottage that has been updated in all the right places. The airconditioning was nice to have in summer and the cottage was spacious. The outside area was really nice to have and has beautiful views. Glenda was a great host and communication was really nice and easy for check-in. She gave us all the information we needed and great tips for the area. It was also really nice for Glenda to drive our suitcases down since we chose to park down in the village. She and her father greeted us very warmly. The location was also really nice, you’re really in the Italian countryside but there are a few nice restaurants in walking distance and the Esselunga (supermarket) is only a 5min drive away. 5 Sterne Appartment! Die Wohnung liegt in einem separaten Häuschen neben Glenda und ihrer Familie. Glenda hat uns persönlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Super nette Gastgeber! Das Auto konnten wir direkt im Hof unter einem Carport sonnengeschützt abVisa mer
5 Sterne Appartment! Die Wohnung liegt in einem separaten Häuschen neben Glenda und ihrer Familie. Glenda hat uns persönlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Super nette Gastgeber! Das Auto konnten wir direkt im Hof unter einem Carport sonnengeschützt abstellen. Achtung: die Einfahrt auf das Privatgelände ist nicht zu breit, aber mit einem durchschnittlich großen Auto machbar. Wohnung war genau wie auf den Bildern und beschrieben - sehr schön! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das ältere Haus wurde von innen wirklich liebevoll und modern ausgebaut. Wir haben den Blick sehr genossen. Auch Unternehmungen nach Lucca, Pisa und Florenz waren von dort bequem mit dem Auto erreichbar. Immer wieder gern!

Wir waren jeden Tag unterwegs, Pisa, Florenz, Siena, Volterra etc. ist alles gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Heerlijke dagen gehad! De locatie is top om bijv. Pisa, Luca en Montecarlo te bekijken. Gezellig Italiaans huisje met een mooie tuin en leuk uitzicht.

The cottage had everything that we needed and supermarkets were nearby with a green grocer in the village, too.

This place is really amazing. The cottage is an ideal place to feel cozy and relaxed. We were here without a car and really enjoyed hiking up through the hills. There was a market for groceries a 5 minute walk (300m) and a few different restaurants aVisa mer

There was a market for groceries a 5 minute walk (300m) and a few different restaurants available within easy walking as well. The hike to Uzzano and across to Stignano was really beautiful.

Glenda , Hugo and Rosa’s place was charming . They are lovely people and very welcoming with our family. The first night we booked a private cooking class with Chef Cristina ( recommended by Sidrak) and it was the best immersion experience to start off our Tuscan vacation . Signora Rosa greeted us with Coconut desserts and typical local homemade liquor. By the end of our first night we felt like Famiglia: The cottage , Rosy Abate had comfortable bathroom and shower with plenty of Hot water for the four of us to use. Perfect place for two couples to explore Tuscany. There was local market close , even walking distance where you can purchase groceries to make breakfast in your cottage. We took day trips to Montepulciano , Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, and Chianti region, Montecarlo, Pisa and Lucca. The longest drive was about 2 hours. One of our favorite local restaurants in Uzzano was La Fornace. We loved it. If you want to go to Florence, you can enjoy hassefree parking for 1 euro and take the new train right into Florence city center . We highly recommend the cottage if you want to feel like you’re “Under the Tuscan Sun.” The property is also gated , private, a quaint, outdoor terrace , washer available , heater , dishwasher , and private parking . We recommend a car if you plan on staying here.
