    All'interno, Dimora delle Camelie è decorata con pavimentazione in cotto antico, illuminazione a lampadario, opere d'arte eclettiche e mobili di design. Gli accenti in legno scuro e gli elettrodomestici moderni aggiungono un tocco di stile moderno e raffinato all'influenza d'altri tempi dell'atmosfera lussuosa di Dimora delle Camelie. Il giardino privato recintato e il patio sono come un proprio caffè privato, con un tavolo da pranzo e un'area soggiorno e muri in pietra autentici, è il posto perfetto per godersi il caffè mattutino o un digestivo dopo una giornata incredibile.
    Dimora delle Camelie si trova nella frazione di Sant'Andrea di Compito, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato all'era del nostro nonno. Il villaggio è famoso per il suo fascino medievale e per un'esposizione annuale di alberi di Camelie, che sono stati importati all'epoca degli scambi commerciali locali con il Giappone all'inizio del 1800.
    Passeggia ogni giorno lungo le strade medievali all'alba o al tramonto, scopri ville vecchie di centinaia di anni, piccole sorgenti e ruscelli che scorrono attraverso (e sotto) il villaggio, bei muri in pietra, case graziose, fattorie, frutteti, vecchi pozzi, uliveti e, in tutto il villaggio, bellissime e antiche Camelie in fiore. Non perderti Lucca che dista solo 9 km (un facile tragitto di 15 minuti). Le caratteristiche tecniche di Dimora delle Camelie includono Wi-Fi, televisione e aria condizionata in tutte le camere da letto.
    Ognuna delle 4 suite per camere dispone di un letto matrimoniale, TV e bagno privato. Le porte che danno sui giardini permettono alle camere di riempirsi di fresche brezze che vi tengono comodi nei mesi estivi.
    La villa è facilmente raggiungibile dal centro storico di Lucca e dal casello autostradale di Lucca Est, nonché dall'aeroporto e dalla città di Pisa. La campagna toscana è costellata di altri gioielli nelle vicinanze, tra cui San Gimignano, Volterra, Lajatico, Pisa, Versilia e Cinque Terre.

    Proprietario e sua moglie vivono nel fienile con apertura sul giardino, quindi sono vicini. Il giardino è condiviso. Il parcheggio auto si trova a 1 o 2 minuti di cammino dalla casa. Il cancello della casa è raggiungibile solo a piedi dal parcheggio vicino. Il condizionatore è in ogni camera da letto ma non nell'area living del piano terra.

We were a group of 5 and then my son and his fiancée joined us - we had 4 spacious bedrooms each with its’s own lovely ensuite bathroom. Check in was easy with Fillippo meeting us and making sure we were all looked after. It was wonderful to come back after a long day of exploring and be able to make our own dinner and enjoy the outside space. Stephanie was lovely and gave us some wonderful recommendations. Parking was the only issue some days but not a big deal for those who want to stroll through the streets. Quaint and delightful home. Thank you Filippo!

The village is also great (although hilly! :)) and has a very nice and good little restaurant within walking distance. It is located only a short distance from Lucca which is absolutely lovely. The check-in /check-out with the owner and/or agency was super smooth and they provided us with some great tips for restaurants and others.
