What a beautiful view, and spotless clean house. Great kitchen, fully equipped with everything you might need. Nice fresh linens and comfortable clean mattresses. Couldn’t ask for more, had a wonderful reunion with friends and family.

When booking we wanted home that had a room (den) where we could all gather and sit/lounge comfortably, location that was private with beautiful views and outdoor seating and dining. Villa Alice met all of the criteria. The home is updated but hasn't lost any of its old world charm. The kitchen was equipped with modern appliances and filled with plenty of utensils, cookware, tableware, silverware etc. The listing pictures are gorgeous, but the home and location is even better in person.

We were able to easily take day trips to Pisa, Cinque Terra, Florence and our family’s hometown Ghivizzano since we rented a van. We also enjoyed leisurely mornings at the villa and cooking dinner several nights because the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a great meal. Our contact Daniela was great to work with and very responsive to our questions.

Only issue we had was with a leaking shower, but Daniela arranged a plumber to visit the next day and it was repaired. It did not interfere with our plans at all and we appreciated how quickly she had the issue fixed.
