ALBERTA FARMHOUSE es una villa de lujo en el corazón de las colinas entre las bodegas y las propiedades de aceite de oliva de Lucca. Aunque rodeada de olivares y viñedos, la villa se encuentra a 3.5 km de las murallas de la ciudad, el centro de la ciudad de Lucca y la principal calle comercial de la ciudad llamada VIA FILLUNGO.
Aunque completamente restaurado, queda mucho del encanto tradicional de la propiedad. Los pisos de terracota al entrar y los muebles originales son un buen ejemplo.
ALBERTA FARMHOUSE es el lugar perfecto para relajarse en la campiña toscana. Sus tranquilos alrededores son colinas onduladas salpicadas de cipreses y olivos, y los viñedos están bordeados por rosas bañadas por el sol y árboles lisos. Escondido entre el esplendor natural está Lucca, su ciudad más cercana, conocida por sus deliciosos platos de pasta, hermosas calles medievales y exquisitos restaurantes. ALBERTA FARMHOUSE se encuentra en la aldea de S. ALESSIO, que ofrece una amplia variedad de deliciosos restaurantes y tiendas antiguas como carnicerías, supermercados, panaderías, queserías y tiendas de vinos, e incluso un supermercado bien surtido de alimentos locales.
Dentro de la villa, una restauración magistral combina armoniosamente los interiores de estilo country con el estilo toscano típico. El resultado es un ambiente tan cálido como el clima exterior. Los tradicionales pisos de losas de piedra lo llevan al comedor al aire libre bajo un porche al aire libre con su antiguo horno de leña para pizzas. La cocina totalmente equipada de estilo rural se abre al comedor exterior. En las noches más frescas, también puede optar por cenar en el comedor formal con capacidad para 12 personas. También hay 2 salas de estar con chimenea y baño. En el primer piso hay cuatro habitaciones (tres de ellas con una cama king size y una con dos camas individuales) y dos baños completos
Fuera de esta casa de campo de estilo rústico, hay varios lugares para relajarse y disfrutar del buen vino y la buena comida mientras disfruta de las incomparables vistas. El área de la piscina grande está bordeada por una casa de la piscina que cuenta con un baño adicional con inodoro y lavabo, además de una ducha de agua caliente al aire libre.
Wifi se proporciona en toda la propiedad. El aire acondicionado está disponible. La televisión tiene canales internacionales incluyendo BBC y CNN.
No hay nada más que para relajarse. ALBERTA FARMHOUSE es el lugar perfecto.

Everything was beautiful and being able to meet the owners Betty & Enzo, and hear the history of their home was so special. What a lovely couple!!! Not to mention the lovely gift of focaccia, salami & Prosecco they left us was so generous and delicious! Our property manager Renate was very lovely and explained all the ins and outs of the house, and gave us some very good recommendations for places to visit around the area. It is decorated in the local style, and very very comfortable. The beds are really good! The nights are so quiet… We slept so well! The villa looks even better than on the pictures. And has an enormous garden, full of olive trees. Our kids loved to run around and explore (garden is fenced). We even took a (chilly) swim in the wonderful pool. And spent a lot of time in the roofed terrace. We truly recommend everyone who loves comfortable-clean-quiet-big-idyllic holliday homes in the middle of vineyards and olive trees!

What an amazing place to spend a week at the end of the summmer! We loved the outdoor space for meals, swimming and just hanging out. The villa is beside several wineries where we tasted and purchased wine and olive oil.

Lots of space inside the villa with huge bedrooms and a well equiped kitchen. Everything was well kept and spotless. The friendly owners left us prosecco, cheese and salami...a great welcome gift that was much appreciated after a long day of travel. We did not have a car but our host Renata gave us the contact info of a taxi driver who drove us to Lucca every day and picked us up. A big thank you to Renata who was always there to answer our questions and help us figure things out. She did a great job! I would recommend this lovely home if you want a true Tuscan vacation experience in a beautiful setting minutes to Lucca. |

The home is absolutely gorgeous, and it is exactly as described in the listing. It was very peaceful. We loved beginning our day with our morning coffee outside at the table. We were able to easily make day trips to Florence, Cinque Terre, Montecarlo, the Collegiate Church of San Cristoforo in Barga, Garfagnana and more. We also loved exploring inside the wall of Lucca. We highly recommend this.

Here's what we liked... Kitchen - it was loaded with everything you could possibly need in preparing meals, with one exception - no microwave. But, it had ample dishes, pots and pans. Nice table in the middle of the room for conversation. Loggia - the outdoor patio was where we spent our time. Quaint, comfortable with decent views of Lucca in the distant. We stoked up the outdoor pizza oven and enjoyed some homemade pizza. Swimming pool - Nice setting with 10 various chairs and lounges. It has a separate bathhouse to use to avoid having to hoof it down to the house. It's around 20 steps up to the pool, but it's clean, comfortable and very private. Bedrooms - Air conditioned and spacious. Beds were firm but comfortable. Lots of storage via built-in cabinets and wardrobes. One bedroom has an ensuite bath and the other three bedrooms share one full bath. Perfect for two couples traveling together, but more than that could be less than ideal. Location - The villa is only a couple of miles from stores and restaurants. Very private and quiet. The last mile or two up to the villa is very narrow and winding so be prepared. We discovered several delightful restaurants within 15 minutes. This is a hidden gem and a great value! Recommended. |

Having said that the local taxis and Restaurant owners and next door winery were very accommodating. Great for families to get togetheras a base to explore Lucca and surrounding areas. Am ersten Tag wurden wir von den Eigentümern persönlich empfangen und bekamen zur Begrüssung eine Flasche Sekt, Foccaia, Käse und eine Salami. Zusammengefasst können wir sagen, dass es ein perfekter Aufenthalt war.

It has now gone tree weeks since we left Lucca and the beautiful Villa Alberta. We just want to tell you how pleased we were with our stay in the farmhouse and how welcoming we felt when being met by Mariapia, Betty and Ezio. They were all so friendly and helpful! We have written to Mariapia, but please send Betty and Ezio our regards and congratulations to a marvelous house.
The house had everything we had wished for, and the distance to the goal of our excursions wasn’t long: to the sea and the beachens, to Florence, PisaCinque Terre. And Lucca is a fantastic city! On Sunday evening we hired bikes and cycled on the wall around the town - what a wonderful view and memory to remember in the wintertime. We hope we will have the opportunity to return to Lucca and Villa Alberta! Until then we’d like to thank you for this time and the good service we received. |

What a Villa, what a view!! Thank you Betty and Enzio for letting us stay in your beautiful villa and for being so kind and helpful at any time. Also a big thank to Mariapia for all your help and support. We enjoyed 12 days in Villa Alberta (Villa Betty), situated in the hills of Lucca, just a few minutes drive outside of Luccas Old Town. We visited the Old Town very often, took a bike ride at the city wall, had the best dinner at Da Pasquale and visited every shop and marked you can imagine(we were travelling with 5 young people from 16-25 :-)) The afternoons we mostly spend on the outside terrace and the pool area which were great! Very well equipped kitchen, we also used the pizza oven - very much recommended. If Lucca is ever on our holiday plan, Villa Betty will absolutely be our first choice.

We enjoyed a fabulous week in Villa Alberta, situated in the hills of Lucca, just a few minutes drive outside of Luccas Old Town. We mostly spend our time on the outside terrace and the pool area which were great! Very well equipped kitchen, we also used the pizza oven - very much recommended. Mariapia was very helpful during check-in and always answered within a few minutes when we asked for restaurant recommendations, also helping us with the orders for home delivery etc. Don’t miss out to book a wine tasting with Guiseppe at the winery next door!

Just a few days of tuscan dolce vita in the lovely hills of Lucca to re-charge ourselves for the hard Winter months to come. The interior is so thoughtful, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and also the outside and the pool area are perfect. We highly recommend trying the Pizza oven an making your own Pizza in a wood fired oven. It was truly the best Pizza of our lives. We sure hope to be back in the future! All the best to the owners

Prepare to fall in love, not just with the elegant and well-appointed villa at Casa Betty, but with it's gracious owners Betty and Ezio. Along with Cristina they greeted our family of 8 so warmly and settled us in for our stay with wonderful instructions and helpful hints. They even prepared lovely snacks for us which we gratefully devoured after our long day of traveling. We thought we'd plan to do excursions each day to see many locations in Tuscany but Lucca ended up being a wonderful place to explore, shop and visit restaurants. Our group included my 81 year old mother and 5 early 20's kids with friends. They rented Italian mountain bikes and road up into the hills each day and spent hours lounging by the beautiful salt water pool each afternoon. We rode bikes long the walls of Lucca and visited many restaurants recommended by our hosts. We did day trips to Sienna, Vinci and Florence. One of our most special memories was the night we all cooked pizza together in the outdoor wood-fired pizza oven and drank delicious wine from the organic vineyard next door. We all fell in love, and promised Betty and Ezio we'd be back. Mille grazie Betty and Ezio!!

The house is even nicer than on the pictures. The views from the house are very nice. The house is spotless clean. The road to villa is partially on the private road. This makes it save for the kids to play outside. We have visited Pisa, Florence, Viver más

This makes it save for the kids to play outside. We have visited Pisa, Florence, Vinci and Cinque Terre. Vinci is a bit smaller and less touristic but other places are simply amazing. If you wanted to stay at the villa you will also enjoy it! October was a bit too cold to use the swimming pool. Otherwise we would have been stayed more days in the villa.

Sometimes it is difficult to be away from your home and all of the comforts and amenties there, but staying here was truly the best home base one could ask for when exploring Tuscany. Their home is so well decorated, so luxurious and exceptionally comfortable. It was really like pulling back in the driveway to your own home after being gone all day. The amenities are innumerable, the views from the hillside are spectacular, and the pool is clean and wonderful! It was nice having the Fabbrico di San Martino winery next to the property too. We were 2 parents, a grandmother, and three children under the age of 12 and it was wonderful to have as many amenities as one's own home. The only downside would maybe be the wifi can be a little spotty because of being in the hills. Grazie mille Betty and Ezio!

One really lovely house on the hill overlooking Lucca! I mean Really Lovely! As one would expect it is few kilometres drive up the hill from downtown and is nicely hidden from the main road. It shares the shares the view with two others but one would hardly notice the neighbours.at least we did not. And now about the house. Well. We have visited a fair share of the places in the world and very few are as cute, well equipped, and well kept! 4 bedrooms with 5 beds, sleeps 8 in style! TV room + Dining room + Kitchen and the Terrace Dining area are to the point. All nice and cosy. An then there is a pool. Lets just say that it comes with personal shower, changing room and the toilet. I mean just look at the pictures. Real life is better :) Owners are really nice couple with just an amount of attention you require. Absolutely would recommend and stay again!

The house ”Casa Betty” and the surroundings are truly beautiful! The owners have created the perfect summerhouse with the private pool and outdoor dining areas. The interior design was really nice and the cleaning was spotless - close to perfection! Comfortable beds and a breathtaking view of the hills of Tuscany from two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms. You couldn’t get enough of it! The weather wasn’t with us in this late April but we can’t imagine a better place to be during hot summerdays. There are no shopsrestaurants within comfortable walking distance and the nearest roads are curvy with cars going fast so you need to take a car whatever you want to do. With that said, we can truly recommend this place! And it’s a great location to go to Pisa, Cinque TerreFlorence and have a beautiful and peaceful home to return to. The closest neighbours are actually a winery and a olive oil-maker. We went there for a winetasting and it was a lovely experience! So please go if you stay at ”Casa Betty”!

We loved this house and spent 3 fantastic weeks here. I honestly didn't believe the house would be as good as the pictures but it was even better. The pool is great and the outdoor table and lounge is a great place to hang out and children to play. The owners of the house were wonderful. Always extremely friendly and they keep the house to a high standard. We lived 2 families in the house and with our small children, it was great. I have no doubt that we will return soon again!
