This was a spectacular apartment. In piazza San Giovanni right beside the church that offers Puccini concerts every night. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very clean. Kitchen was great for preparing nibbles and drinksa full cooked meal. The location was great. Easy to get to the wall and walk the city and close to great restaurants and shopping. Lucca is at the same time a quintessential medieval Tuscan town and modern hub for working abroad. Tourist are around but you get the feel of real Italian living. We would go back in heartbeat. John

Stayed here with our 3 kids and 2 grandparents, and it was absolutely perfect. Wonderful location - walkable to everything inside the walls - and absolutely beautiful. Apartment was beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen, etc. Only thing to note - if you have a several day stay, as we did, you need to provide extra bathroom items including toilet paper once you run out of what is provide. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to be back soon!!!

Travel cot & high chair provided was not there for our first night and when the cot did arrive, the base was broken. We had to do a makeshift repair to make it safe for our granddaughter.

This is a fantastic and LARGE apartment in Lucca in a great location. You are located close to the main shopping street, but in a quiet piazza. But also close enough to the wall that it's easy to take a nice walkeven get to the train station on foot if you need to. The apartment itself was so spacious! There were 6 of us and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We never used the available bikes due to rain, but that was a nice touch that 4 were provided for us. The apartment got a ton of natural light, included two private patio areas and looked out over a beautiful garden. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

Sidrak, Chiara, Sonia and team provided an excellent service from first contact and throughout our stay, and Chiara warmly greeted us on arrival so our first experience in the apartment was excellent. The apartment is ideally located, less than 10 minutes easy walk from Lucca train station, and a decent supermarket is just 5 minutes away. Places to eat and drink are everywhere, even in February. The space, furnishings and views are even more magical in real life than in the professional photography, and the window over the square for the weekend market is a captivating place to sit and absorb the comings, goings and sounds. The stairs to the apartment are easy to climb with good quality banisters on both sides all the way up, and everything about the place is comfortable, warm, high quality and feels safe. Lucca is a clean city and environmentally-aware, with designated days for recycling and rubbish collection. However, an ‘ecological area’ (for recycling and rubbish disposing at any time) is just 6 minutes walk from the apartment where Via Della Caserma meets Via Francesco Carrara, not far from Porta San Pietro (the old gate in the wall you pass through from the train station to the apartment. My advice: stay in this apartment!

I usually don’t book a property with no reviews, like this property, but Sidrak had some good reviews on other homes in Lucca, so I decided to take the chance. This apartment is the best of Airbnb in all categories. It has clearly been recently renovated. All fixtures throughout are very high quality. The decor is something I would love to have in my own home. It is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable. It is a home where I would be proud to have guests (and we did a few times).
