A delightful apartment in the heart of Lucca

This apartment was very comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. When I asked for knives and wine glasses, Stella made sure we had them that day! The beds were comfortable and there were sufficient towels for both bathrooms.

This apartment is definately a climb! From the green front door on Via Fillungo, it was approximately 106 steps, with 6 landings, to get to the apartment front door. The apartment name is a good clue…when you have a Clocktower view you should expect that it’s going to include some climbing! I’ve booked through Lucca Apartments and Villas multiple times, and have never been disappointed in either the apartments or the excellent customer service. One thing that I do think might be beneficial on the website is an apartment layout sketch. Being able to see where the bathrooms are, in conjunction to the bedrooms, for example, could make the decision making process easier. The photos are beautiful and cover most things a prospective renter might be interested in seeing, but a floor plan would be even better! |

Lovely apartment with everything one would need. Only thing is the showers not fast flowing and quite weak but this may be because it’s in an old building with low pressure. Otherwise great location to explore Lucca.

Great location with plenty of amenities. A bit of a walk from the parking lot to the unit but it is a wonderful city to walk around so it was all part of the adventure.

Kitchen was missing a few essentials but easily fixed. Just be aware of the driving/parking issues in Lucca as you can't even drive your car in to drop off your luggage, everything needs to be carried the 10-15min from the nearest carparkyou'll need a taxi.
