Vi är supernöjda med lägenheten: den ligger centralt och det är nära till allt. Utsikten från takterrassen var superfin. Värden var trevlig och hjälpsam.

tuvimos un gran recibimiento por parte de Manuel que fue quien nos atendió a pesar de la diferencia idiomática no hubo ningún problema en entendernos, nos dio consejos de lo que podíamos ir ha visitar, restaurantes ,etcétera ,lo más destacable del apartamento es su terraza y las vistas, el apartamento estaba bien climatizado cosa que se agradece con la calor que hace, estaba bien equipado, tuvimos que bajar el colchón de la buhardilla y ponerlo en el suelo porque arriba hacia mucha calor, por poner una pega le faltaba luz en la cocina que no se veía cuando tenías que cocinar,es un sitio que volvería, gracias a Manuel por su gran recibimiento,

The apartment is as described. Anyone complaining about the location of the shower, the steps to the loft, the size of the loft, etc. did not carefully review the photosread the description and reviews. The description could be clearer about access to the apartment the only practical way in and out is by taking the many stairs and using three different keys. We, who are not spring chickens, did not mind the steps at all, especially because they led to an apartment with a sunny veranda that afforded great views of tiled rooftops, towers, and beautiful hills beyond. During our two-week stay, we ate many meals in the apartment. We found the kitchen to be adequately equipped. We came to love Lucca and, in no small part, because of the location of this apartment. For us, the music from the school across the piazza added to the charm of the city. We were in very easy walking distance from groceries (Conad), fresh bread, pastries of all sorts, restaurants, take-away foods, gelato, beautiful churches and piazzas, the city wall, the train station, etc. All our interactions with the hosts were pleasant and helpful. Manuel, who greeted us and showed us the apartment, was especially friendly and generous with advice and tips. We loved our stay.

Lovely apartment very close to everything in Lucca. Manuel welcomed us with a nice introduction to the city and great recommendations. Glad to have stayed here.

L'appartamento è molto bello, curato ed accogliente, in pieno centro storico. Check in e check out senza nessun problema. Ci auguriamo di tornare ancora.

L'appartement de Sidrak est très bien situé au coeur de la vieille ville fortifiée et décoré. Tout est conforme aux photos. La petite terrasse privative est bien sympa et donne une belle vue sur les toits et une des très jolies tours médiévales de Lucca. Il y fait juste très chaud en été même de nuit. Heureusement, l'appartement est bien climatisé. Non négligeable: il y a un ascenseur, donc pratique pour les bagages et les courses lourdes d'autant qu'il faut savoir qu'entre le parking le plus proche obligatoire (car interdiction de rentrer dans la vieille ville sans pass de résidents) et le logement, il faut faire environ 15 minutes de marche d'un bon pas. Par contre, une fois sur place, toutes les commodités et les charmes de la Dolce vita opèrent! Nous recommandons donc ce logement.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo deciso di trascorrere qualche giorno a Lucca per visitare la città e abbiamo scelto di alloggiare in questa casetta meravigliosa, la posizione era centralissima, la casa veramente deliziosa, curata nei dettagli, super fornita, con un terrazzo con vista sulle torre Giunigi. Siamo stati veramente benissimo e ci piacerebbe ritornare! Grazie di tutto Lucca e Sidrak!!! <3 Denny e Benny <3

What an incredible flat. Perfectly located, very quiet, very cozy, very spacious. The terrace is amazing and very comfortable. The place is well heated (it's winter), but there is A/C as well and lots of ventilation with the windows open. There is a second bed in a loft upstairs (we didn't use), but the shower is located in the master bedroom and if you stay in the master bedroom, you would have to walk through the room with the loft (but downstairs) to get to the toilet which is connected to the living room. We were only a couple so it was only an observation. It seems like it would be perfect for a family. The place is obviously very very perfect for a couple. I would stay here again, and actually I would live here too. It really was great. The only thing was the WiFi was very very slow. We had to use our phones for everything (Netflix -mostly- worked in the evenings though). I was told by locals that Fibre was only introduced to Lucca last year, so hopefully they will upgrade soon.

Ideally positioned in a quiet part of Lucca, with a delightful terrace, both sunny and private and a stunning view. The apartment was immaculate and well equipped and comfortable. There is a small lift to the apartment but I preferred to use the stairs. Sonia promptly handed me the keys to the grand staircase. The apartment is probably not suitable for elderly visitors and young children, but comes highly recommended for everyone else. The icing on the cake - it is opposite the Academy of Music - piano concertos waft through the apartment. Sonia and her team are caring and helpful. I will continue to be a frequent visitor to Lucca and will always use this company. Thank you Sonia and Co!

Magnifique appartement dans le centre historique de Lucca avec une vue splendide.

Wirklich nette Wohnung in sehr zentraler Lage. Super ist die eigene Dachterrasse mit direktem Blick auf den Guinigiturm u.a.) Gute Küchenausstattung. Direkt unterm Dach, keine Bewohner über einem. Leichte Geräusche aus den Nachbarwohnungen möglich aber insgesamt sehr ruhig. Im Sommer sicherlich recht warm, Klimaanlage ist aber vorhanden. Bett ist ok. Bad auch.

Lovely, spacious apartment with everything we needed, the communication beforehand was perfect. The location is fantastic right in the centre of Lucca but yet extremely quiet. The view from the balcony over the roofs of Lucca is not to be missed - would highly recommend this apartment!

Lovely space - really bright, clean, homely, stylish. Particularly enjoyed the private terrace - lovely views and great sun spot. Be mindful that there are multiple flights of stairs from street level to apartment - fine if you're fit, but could be tiresome sometimes (especially in the heat/after a busy day/with luggage!). Great to have use of bikes (though, check for flat tyres) and great location - quiet but central. I would recommend staying here if you visit Lucca.

This apartment was just right for our lovely stay in Lucca. It was an easy walk to everywhere from the apartment (the train station was a very easy walk, and then the wall with the beautiful park was really steps away). The apartment was furnished with everything we needed, including kitchen items for cooking. The apartment owner was helpful, and it was very easy to arrange to meet to get and return the keys. I would highly recommend this for your stay in Lucca! The apartment has elevator leading to the magnificent terrace. We spent many hours watching the incredibly beautiful view. We will never forget. I have stayed in Lucca before but can honestly say our recent stay in this apartment was the best experience. The apartment is beautifully furnished for every need and has a luxury feel that does not fail in making you feel relaxed and special. The location is perfect for walking to all areas of Lucca yet is located away from some of the tourist hot spots so you see more of day to day life as well. Everything you need is on the doorstep from sights, great bakeries to fabulous restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed including an owner who was a pleasure to speak to (from booking to leaving) Mrs Sonia really cared about our stay being enjoyable, this for us was the icing on the cake ! We arrived late and Sonia was patiently waiting he gave us a great run down on the apartment and area , she was at hand for any questions through out the stay. We particularly loved the personal touches from Sonia, the beautiful scents in each room, the oranges she gave us from her garden, the effort in making the apartment so beautiful, the place was spotless and the furnishings fabulous. We loved the terrace and spent a lot of the evenings enjoying wine by lamplight, listening to the neighbourhood sounds. In the early afternoons you can sit and enjoy the opera practise occurring from the music school nearby in the street , which really was a wonderful atmospheric treat. The old church across from the apartment is a great addition as one can sit and view it from the terrace, its architecture is breathtaking. From the terrace you can see the Palazzo tower in the distance ,this apartment is in the shadow of Lucca history and as such offers and abundance of riches ! The kitchen was equipped with all you need to cook Italian style. The bedroom was bright and airy with wonderful fabrics. The lounge had a relaxing large sofa and whilst we did not use the television there is the opportunity if you wish. The table in the kitchen area is perfect for sociable dinners. finally the bathroom is new and designed well, the shower was fantastic and spacious. Elevator made things easy so we could have an apartment with view without having to climb any step. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and we would return without a shadow of doubt, it is heaven in a heavenly place . Thank you Mrs Sonia for sharing this wonderful place. See you soon!

The terrace view of the mountains, tower, and Music School were like a perfect postcard image of historic Italy. But the musicians and students playing throughout the day and evening made it magical. Ms Sonia was very helpful and the apartment , and building were beautiful. She also provided bicycles for riding thru the streets and wall of Lucca. We miss it already❤

The apartment is excellently located in the centre of Lucca, but situated in a way that you get the best of both worlds, tranquillity and a central position, as the flat itself is at the top of a beautiful 12th century old building. The views are wide and breathtaking and are indeed the best there can be in Lucca, and include the entire old centre and the Tuscan hills all around. You need to see it to believe it as pictures can not even capture the ambiance of it all.
The apartment comes out in the Piazza del Suffragio. To the right is the main street of Lucca, full of shops, which leads to the Via Fillungo. Parking can be done all around the old walls for freeinside the walls (on payment) for a reasonable fee. There is no garden, but something MUCH better, a deck terrace right outside the living room, which overviews the entire square area, complete with the church and the sky. It has lounge chairs/sofa with soft cushions with covers and a table with some chairs for delightful ambiance dinners. What I found most relaxing was just to take a lounge chair and sit and read, finding out that no matter how exciting your book is, you get drawn into the nearby and distant beauty of Lucca and surroundings. No building is out of place, there is nothing uglymodern, it is all typically rustic and very Tuscan!
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? I would recommend this flat to everybody, as it really is the best there is in Lucca, it is so important to have nice views and be able to be outside in your house. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had and I wish I could go back tomorrow. The interior apartment is large and clean,and the terrace is spectacular and unique. The veranda area, which is covered by jasmine trees and complete with shade, is a delight to be in, very light and extremely quiet. We met the owner at arrival: so charming, a very helpful woman!

We have just spent a week in this Lucca hideaway. As other reviews have indicated, the location of this apartment is perfect. It was amazing to walk out of the door and have the antique church of St Giulia, the magnificent antique shops street and the St. Michele Square right on our doorstep! Whilst these are busy tourist attractions, the apartment itself is in a quiet, secure area surrounded by a charming atmosphere . Sonia is a fantastic host. She met us on our arrival and explained everything about the apartment before taking us a tour of the local area, pointing out places to eat and shop, including the local supermarket, greengrocers and bakery. Everything in the apartment was as described in the literature. The apartment was large and comfortable, on the third floor - with elevator! had thoughtfully provided maps, leaflets and books about Lucca - much appreciated. There was plenty of literature on Tuscany and surrounds and the handbook provided told us everything we needed to know. The location allowed us to walk to all of the major attractions (and we did!) and we also took a bus trip to Florence and a train trip to Cinque Terre, which was interesting and informative. We enjoyed a meal at nearby Canuleia on our last evening and lunch at Gli Orti Via Elisa, a lovely trattoria just across the apartment’s street. We would certainly recommend this apartment. You will feel at home when you pass through the antique door at the street and you will stop to breathe when the elevator doors will open onto the most beautiful terrace I have ever seen in my lifetime.
This is a spacious, comfortable multi-level apartment overlooking the roofs and the town of Lucca, it is fully appointed inside and featuring wonderful outdoor living space. Day trip opportunities are plentiful. We did not have an automobile, instead relying on taxis, buses and trains to ferry us back and forth to Florence, Pisa, Siena and the seaside. The train and bus station are in just 5 mins walking from the apartment. The owner was so sweet when he met us and we arranged for his cook to prepare dinner for us one evening. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. . Everything was as advertised, and we enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, private retreat in Lucca.

We recently spent 5 glorious days in this apartment. What a great slice of Italy after very full days in Rome & Florence. Everything in the apt. was exactly as pictured and outlined. Sonia promptly met us at the apartment after we walked over from the train station - she thoroughly reviewed the amenities and particulars with us ensuring we didn't have any questions before she left. The views from the terrace are magnificent... this coupled with the daily "concerts" from the music school made for magical afternoons on the terrace. The apt. location is fantastic - Lucca is a town easily navigated on foot. Every meal was better than the next and we even made use of the apartment's kitchen on several nights by shopping in the local markets/shoppes. Gelateria Veneta is not to be missed!
