A panoramic road will bring you out of the village of Montecarlo, into the hills and up to the gates of this romantic, honeymoon-worthy estate. Its terrace and pergola open to uninterrupted views of the antique Italian garden, but trees and hedges hide the gardens from sight, so you’ll feel like the only one for miles as you sink into the pool, or prepare a meal at the al-fresco barbecue.
Though VILLA GIANNA still has its classic tiled roof, stone walls and floors, beamed ceilings, and wide hearth, its furnishings bring the villa comfortably into the modern age. Large bedrooms invite you to linger in while overlooking the charming garden, the dining table has seating for six and there’s even a central counter for amazing cooking classes in the fully equipped spacious kitchen.

I knew instantly when I saw the listing for this Villa that it stood apart from the others! In person though it is even more beautiful! The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shopsee more

The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shop where we loved things everywhere we looked. The owner is very nice and even brought us breakfast one morning! To talk about our magical stay I must talk about the manager, Martina! From her beautiful welcoming smile to her unbelievable communication to help us know where to go, how to get there, and anything else we needed in a foreign country during our 10 night stay and beyond! The highlight of our stay was having Martina’s mother, Francesca and Chris come to the villa for a private cooking class and then they served us what we made like an upscale restaurant!! The location of this villa is perfect for making day trips to so many places and the town of Montecarlo is absolutely beautiful! Hands down this was the perfect choice and we would come back here in a heartbeat!

We just arrived home from a wonderful stay at Villa Gianna. Everything was perfect! The location of the house was ideal for getting around Tuscany (we had a rental car and there is an area on the property for parking). We really enjoyed visiting Luccsee more

The location of the house was ideal for getting around Tuscany (we had a rental car and there is an area on the property for parking). We really enjoyed visiting Lucca which is very near and a hidden gem of a city. Check in was very simple and Chiara was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was heavily used! The air conditioning worked really well (the bedrooms each had their own units) and we did a small amount of food preparation and a load of laundry! Beds were comfortable and the outdoor areas were spacious but still cozy. We stayed at 5 different accommodation types during our month in Italy and Villa Gianna was my kids’ favourite!

We felt very well looked after as she’s only a message away and quite prompt at responding to any request. She helped us in booking a dinner at a restaurant and even arranged to get to us a piece of clothing that my daughter left behind after we checked out. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

The location of the house was ideal for getting around Tuscany (we had a rental car and there is an area on the property for parking). We really enjoyed visiting Lucca which is very near and a hidden gem of a city. Check in was very simple and Chiara was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was heavily used! The air conditioning worked really well (the bedrooms each had their own units) and we did a small amount of food preparation and a load of laundry! Beds were comfortable and the outdoor areas were spacious but still cozy. We stayed at 5 different accommodation types during our month in Italy and Villa Gianna was my kids’ favourite!

Everything was splendid. Right in the countryside. Great host and perfect spot to visit little towns. Church bells from 8am-midnight. Wonderful to dip in the pool after a long hot day in the countryside. Overall a delightful location!

I knew instantly when I saw the listing for this Villa that it stood apart from the others! In person though it is even more beautiful! The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shopsee more
I knew instantly when I saw the listing for this Villa that it stood apart from the others! In person though it is even more beautiful! The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shop where we loved things everywhere we looked. He( Giovanni) is very nice and even brought us breakfast one morning! To talk about our magical stay I must talk about the manager, Martina! From her beautiful welcoming smile to her unbelievable communication to help us know where to go, how to get there, and anything else we needed in a foreign country during our 10 night stay and beyond! The highlight of our stay was having Martina’s mother, Francesca and Chris come to the villa for a private cooking class and then they served us what we made like an upscale restaurant!! The location of this villa is perfect for making day trips to so many places and the town of Montecarlo is absolutely beautiful! Hands down this was the perfect choice and we would come back here in a heartbeat!
