This refurbished 1st floor apartment along Via degli Asili inside the Walls of Lucca provides all the warmth and sophistication required for your visit to Tuscany. This upscale apartment is located within 2 mins walking distance of small shops and great restaurants, as well as the chic street via Fillungo and all famous monuments and landmarks of Lucca.
At Casa Edgar, you will find an elegant grand living room with double height, a fabulous fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms each one with its own bathroom. The whole apartment is air conditioned and has a good WIFI.
Composition: located one floor above the ground level, 26 steps only to get into the living room, fully equipped kitchen (in a closet are available clothes washer and dryer) master bedroom, bathroom with built shower.
Upstairs: corridor with spacious wardrobe, a second full bathroom with a built shower, a loft with a double size sofa bed to accommodate a 3rd and 4th guest and a desk which makes it ideal for guests to work remotely.

It was beautifully and creatively decorated, with the living area, bedrooms and bathrooms charmingly color coordinated. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped with every convenience needed for a two week stay and the bed linens and bath towels were spotlessly clean, as was the entire apartment. Although I had no need to make requests of the rental agent during my stay, my arrival experience was was fine. Without hesitation, I would happily rent Casa Edgar for any future visits to Lucca.

Appears to have been recently renovated and they did an exceptional job on the craftsmanship, color choices, furniture and decor. Bellisimo! Both bathrooms are spacious, lots of storage cabinets throughout the unit if needed, natural light available see more
Appears to have been recently renovated and they did an exceptional job on the craftsmanship, color choices, furniture and decor. Bellisimo! Both bathrooms are spacious, lots of storage cabinets throughout the unit if needed, natural light available through 3 large windows (great curtains to block the light if needed), high ceilings, and the AC works very well. The location was perfect for us since we often went to cafes near San Frediano, restaurants near the Anfiteatro (Baralla was our favorite - order the Tordellini Lucchese and the Asiago Con Funghi), and we often rode bikes on the wall. We hope to return someday!

The location on a quiet street was perfect for our week long stay yet still so close to everything. Bike rental just around the corner became part of our morning routine. Yes. We will stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our 2 week stay at Casa Edgar located on the north side of Lucca within the walls in a very convenient location to all the sights and for daily walks around the wall.

We very much enjoyed our 2 week stay at Casa Edgar located on the north side of Lucca within the walls in a very convenient location to all the sights and for daily walks around the wall.
It was a very functional layout for our family with the kids sleeping in the loft on the pullout. The apartment was very nicely decorated and had lots of storage. The only thing I would point out is how loud it is. The neighbouring restaurant's outside patio was rockin' until 1:00am every night and then the school kids arrive at the school across the way at 8:00am. Add in twice weekly street sweeping at 5:00am, we were woken up several times. Thankfully our kids are heavy sleepers. If you are not, maybe something to think about. For us, the amazing location within the walls, close to everything and the very nicely appointed apartment made up for the street noise but I couldn't not mention it. Lucca Apartments and Villas were very responsive and helpful. |

There was some renovations going on that weren’t great if you wanted to sleep in at all, but it’s a great apartment. I’d stay there again.
