Cozy apartment on the first line of Las Canteras beach with stunning direct views of the sea and the beach.
The 65m2 accommodation has 2 bedrooms, one double and one single, with which it has capacity for 3 people. It is exterior and has a small balcony from where you can contemplate the wonderful sunsets of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the landscape of Las Canteras beach.
Located on the same avenue of the beach, it is surrounded by all the services offered by this great city such as restaurants, supermarkets and shops, as well as many other offers of leisure and sports activities along the entire avenue that has a length of 3.5kms. On the other side is the Alfredo Krauss Auditorium, which has a wide range of shows, as well as one of the largest shopping centers on the island, such as "Las Arenas".
"La Playa de Las Canteras" is a long stretch of sand, occupying about 3800 meters of coastline, which stretches across the bay.
Las Canteras is one of the best urban beaches in the country and in the world, with good weather almost all year round. The place in the capital to relax, where time stops and where you can do sports any day of the week, wearing a swimsuit, bikini, goggles and tube (snorkel), shovels (beach rackets) or a surfboard.
In addition, it is a great reserve of marine life.
We recommend the long walk that winds continuously to the sand, avoiding cafes and ice cream parlors. At the beginning of the walk you will find the terraces of La Puntilla and the fresh fish restaurants. At the other end of the beach, the surfing atmosphere around the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, with more terraces and cafes facing the sea.

Location is really great, view on the beach and only a 50 meters walk to take a swim. Plenty of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Mayka is a wonfderfull host, she is ready to help you with anything.

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung. Groß genug für 3 Reisende. Super Ausstattung, es findet sich alles dort, was man braucht und auch Geschirr und Besteck ist in gutem Maße vorhanden. Sogar einen Staubsauger und ein Bügeleisen gibt es dort, das war bisher auf unseren Las Palmas Reisen nicht zu finden. Ein absoluter Pluspunkt: es gibt einen TRinkwasserhahn. Das heißt kein lästiges Schleppen von 5 Liter Kanistern und eine absolute Müllreduktion :) Die Kommunikation mit GetAway war stellenweise schleppend aber nichts, was ärgerlich für uns war. Die Wohnungsübergabe erfolgt absolut reibungslos und auch der von uns gebuchte Parkplatz (nur einen Katzensprung entfernt) war bestens. Selbst als meine Tochter sich aus ihrem Zimmer aussperrte und das am Abend, kam in der nächsten halben Stunde Hilfe. Das war wirklich superklasse. Die Lage der Wohnung ist eher etwas für Leute, die es nicht stört, wenns mal laut ist. AM Ende der Promenade staut sich nicht nur die Wärme , sondern auch die Umfeldgeräusche. Sprich die Lokale haben von vormittags bis in die Nacht hinein geöffnet. Das Stimmengemurmel ist gut zu hören. Nach ein paar Tagen hat man sich dran gewöhnt. Gerade am Wochenende kommen viele Straßenmusiker vorbei. Typisches Promenadenleben. Wir lieben diese Vielfältigkeit. Nachts, wie überall am Strand und der Promenade, sind die Reinigungskräfte unterwegs und der Strand wird per Trecker geglättet. Ab spätestens halb 5 ist absolute Ruhe und nur noch Meerrauschen angesagt. KLasse ist der Ausblick aus Wohnzimmer und vom Balkon: die ganze Bucht liegt einem quasi zu Füßen...Las Palmas ist immer eine Reise wert :)

Wer damit kein Problem hat findet eine sehr schöne grosse und gut ausgestattete Wohnung vor. Da man von Bars und Retsasurants umringt ist kann man sehr gut Ausgehen. Von den aussen geräuschen bekommt man nach dem schliessen der Türen nur wenig mit, ich konnte hervorragend schlafen. Die Tür ist mit verstärkten Schlössern ausgestattet, vaor Einbrüchen muss man keien Angst haben.

Es ist immer was los: Mal krakeelt mitten in der Nacht Partyvolk am Meer, mal drehen städtische Lkw zwecks Strandpflege früh morgens ausführliche Runden. *Jeden* Morgen (gegen sieben, soweit ich mich erinnere) stellen die ersten Restaurants direkt vorm Haus lautstark die Stühle und Sonnenschirme fürs Frühstücksgeschäft auf.
