Location

The apartment is located in the border between Gracia and Eixample neighborhoods. This location has the best of these two areas of Barcelona. Gracia area is charming, quite and bohemian and there are so many restaurants, bars, small shops,...and the Eixample area (Diagonal and Passeig the Gracia) has the smart boutiques, the Gaudí amazing modernist houses "La Pedrera", "Casa Batlló" and "Casa Milá". The apartment is only a few meters from Diagonal Avenue and Passeig de Gracia. Apart from this, the apartment is only 10 minutes walking to the old city center (Plaza Catalunya and Gothic area). Near the apartment there are four metro stations (L3, L5, L6 and L7) only 2 minutes from the apartment. Direct bus to Barcelona beaches in only 10-15 minutes! The cultural heart of the city is definitely this district. Moreover, it is perfect for families because it is really quiet and full of little playgrounds. Near to the city center and the upper district of Sarria-Sant Gervasi, the area is preserved from the noisy and crowded center. All facilities around as well as many shops, supermarkets, bars and cafés.

Places to visit around

Visit the Gracia neighborhood. Take a drink in one of the several terraces in the nice and quite squares and relax there. Walk down Passeig de Gracia street and will see the most elegant boutiques in Barcelona and visit "La Pedrera", "Casa Batlló" and "Casa Milà", the amazing houses Guadí built in the beginning of the last century. At the end of Passeig de Gracia you will find Plaza Catalunya, the main center of Barcelona. Down from there, you will find Las Ramblas and Gothic area, the Cathedral, the Palau de la Música, the Liceo,... all the best places to visit in Barcelona. Culture and leisure go together in this district that is also very trendy. There are many little theaters and cinemas where you will be able to see independent movies in original language. Verdi street is the main center of Gracia, there are many restaurants from all over the world as well as curious designer shops and cute cafés and wine bars. Moreover, there are many libraries and cultural centers offering activities. Finally, you will be just next to Diagonal metro stop and just two stations away from the Old Town.
