Location

Eixample is the most characteristic area of Barcelona. It is plenty of shops, restaurants, "bares de tapas", banks, pharmacies,.... Ideal for visitors & professionals of Barcelona's international Trade Fair "La Fira" (only 5-10 minutes walking distance). It is very well communicated by public transport. There is one metro line (L1) just at 10 meters to the apartment and several bus lines. Direct bus to Barcelona's beaches in only 15-20 minutes. It is 10-15 minutes walking to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. The area is quiet and surrounded by all the needed services such as supermarkets, shops, vintage clothing outlets etc… You will have no problem to get to all the important sites on foot or with the metro.

Places to visit around

Gran Via Street (bars, cinemas,...) and the centenary inside "Sant Antoni" market. In Plaza España area: the Magic Fountains, the Pueblo Español, the Olympic Stadium, the Joan Miró museum, the Joan Miró park, the Catalonian Modern Art Museum (MNAC) and the botanic garden. The area of Montjuic is perfect for leisure and sports but also for a quiet walk with family. Don’t miss the performing arts centers of Teatre Lliure and Mercat de les Flors for movement and dance performances. Enjoy the wonderful views from any of the spots facing the city that you can find in Montjuic. The area is perfect for children because it has some parks to play and open spaces with less traffic than the city center. In the summer you will have the chance to attend the “Grec” theater festival in Montjuic with a large program including music , dance and plays.
