The area is safe and welcoming to walk around even with kids. Apartment very well communicated by Barcelona public transport with two metro lines (L1 and L4) and several bus lines.

The apartment is only 5 minutes walking to Plaza Catalunya, Passeig del Born, Picasso museum, Arc del Triomf, Santa Catarina market, Ciutadella park, Barcelona's Cathedral, Santa María del Mar church, chocolate museum, the costume Museum, the Old Sinagogue etc.. Walk around the cute streets and get lost for a while, you will for sure be surprised by some unexpected architectural detail. The apartment is only at 10-15 minutes walking to Barcelona beaches or 5-10 minutes by bus!
