This apartment is ideally situated for you to enjoy Barcelona beaches, as well as the hustle and bustle atmosphere of Barcelona's port area with its many bars, restaurants and terraces. The apartment is located in the old fishing village of Barceloneta, a picturesque area full of winding streets, where you can discover lots of quaint bars and enjoy some of the best seafood restaurants available in Barcelona. Barceloneta offers the best of the city's beaches as well as easy access to all city centre locations. The Old City (Barri Gotic), Las Ramblas, and the fashionable Born area are all within easy walking distance. The metro will take in a few minutes to the center and you will be even able to walk back home if you spend the evening out in the Old Town. The area is perfect for small groups of friends and young couples. The atmosphere is quite unique in Barceloneta and we encourage you to explore it.

Within Barceloneta you can enjoy the atmosphere of an area that has retained its traditional charm over the years, and also have easy access to modern facilities (supermarkets, internet cafés, cinemas, shopping etc.). Within stumbling distance are a selection of beaches, the Marina Mare Magnum Complex (shopping center, cinemas, nightlife), Port Olympic, and the traditional bars and restaurants of Barceloneta. Also within a short walk you will find the Gothic Cathedral, Placa Reial, the Picasso Museum, Museum of Modern Art, the trendy Born District, the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar, the Boqueria covered Market, Park Ciutadella & Barcelona Zoo Aquarium (Europe's largest).the Museum of Catalan History , and the Sailing Museum with an accurate copy of one of Colombus “Caravellas”. Apart from that, the area where the apartment is located, used to be the fishermen district and that for, it has still a very characteristic personality. You will be able to find a large number of bars and seafood restaurants that are very popular even among locals.
