Location

Apartment located in the main Eixample area of Barcelona, only at 5-10 minutes to Passeig de Gracia. It is a beautiful area, with lovely modernist buildings, so many shops, groceries, bakeries, bars, restaurants, bares de tapas, services,… The apartment is very well connected by the Barcelona public transport. There is one metro station at 1 minute from the apartment and two other metro stations at 3 minutes from the apartment. The apartments in this area used to be occupied in the beginning of the past century by rich families from the flourishing middle-upper class. The area is quiet and not very crowded as well as surrounded by al necessary facilities. You are very close to the city center even on foot and also not far away from Gracia district that is worth a visit. All Gaudi monuments are just some minutes away from the apartment walking distance as well as some very interesting museums such as the Museum of Music or Egyptian Museum.

Places to visit around

The apartment is only at 5-10 minutes to Passeig de Gràcia avenue. In this smart avenue you can visit three of the most famous modernist Gaudí buildings in Barcelona, "La Pedrera", "Casa Batlló", "Casa Ametller". Also there you can enjoy just walking through this avenue, make some shopping in the most luxury boutiques in Barcelona and eat in very good restaurants. Near the apartment, in the south part there is the Born area, the historic neighborhood that last years has been reconverted in one of the most attractive, lively and cosmopolitan neighborhood in Barcelona. Barcelona beaches are only at 10-15 minutes by bus from the apartment! The area is full of treasures and very interesting buildings regarding style and architecture. In the smart Eixample, you will find green areas, some interesting museums such as the Music Museum or the Egyptian one as well as a large number of elegant cafeterias to take a rest while sightseeing. All Gaudi monuments are just a few minutes away walking and the beautiful and unique old Middle-Ages Barcelona, is close with the metro or even on foot. Don’t miss a walk in the next district heading north named Gracia as it’s very cosy and trendy.
